The Fries Recreation Center is now accepting applications for a part-time Director and a part-time Sports Director. Applications may be picked up at the Fries Recreation Center Front Desk. Application deadline is Fri., July 30th. For more information please call 744-2531.

Help the Fries Recreation Center Help Our Kids!
The Fries Recreation Center has programs and activities for everyone, but can always use your help in providing more and better activities for our kids. Please visit Fries Rec Center for information on ways you can help the Rec Center help our children.


The Fries Recreation Center Board of Directors has initiated a Pool Construction Fund. The pool has always been an important part of our community and has been in a deteriorating state for several years. Read more about the problem and efforts to resolve it here.


Bill Davis has a historical DVD on sale with footage of the cotton mill and folks working there before it closed. DVD's are $50 and may be purchased at The Back Porch Gallery. All money in excess of the burning of the DVD's will be donated to the Fries Rec Center. You can also call Town Hall at (276) 744-2231 for more information.
